School board will act on 12 winter coaching contracts
Bluffton school board will offer supplemental contracts to 12 winter coaches on Monday. The list is attached at the bottom of this story.
It will also act on accepting the resignation of board member Brad Fruchey, which was announced earlier on the Icon.
Fruchey, a member of the Bluffton school board for the past 18 years, announced his resignation in early October.
He resigned from the Board due to the purchase of Riley Creek Sportswear, which presents a conflict of interest for him to continue to serve on the Board of Education.
Three student teaching assignments are on the agenda:
• Sam Warye, University of Findlay, with Nicholas Rackley, Jan. 6 to April 30
• Sage Caughenbaugh, ONU, with Jaime Erford Jan. 13 to May 3
• Victoria Silveus, Bluffton University, with Teri Steinmetz, Jan. 9 to April 28
The complete board agenda is attached below.
