Police respond to threats made to hospital staff members
Here's the April Bluffton police log.
April 3
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for OVI following a complaint of the subject being asleep behind the wheel in a drive thru of a State Route 103 business. The defendant was also charged with driving under suspension and endangering children. The cases are pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
April 4
Officers received a theft complaint from a Jefferson Street resident.
April 8
Officers responded to the hospital in reference to threats made to staff members by a family member of someone being treated at the facility.
April 9
Officers received a civil child custody complaint from a Beaver Street resident.
April 14
Officers arrested a Bluffton resident for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Main Street. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
April 18
Officers arrested a Findlay resident for possession of controlled substances following a traffic stop in the area of County Line Road near County Road 29 for a speeding violation. The defendant was charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of hashish liquid, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia along with the original charge of speed. The cases are pending.
April 25
Officers responded to a Garmatter Street residence in reference to a breaking and entering complaint.
April 29
Officers responded to an East College Avenue residence in reference to a male subject who was threatening to harm himself. After speaking with the subject, it was determined he needed to be transported the St. Rita’s for a mental health evaluation. A deputy from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office transported the subject to St. Rita’s without incident.
