And, here's another cheer on the way
Fitness schedule at bottom of story -
Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Road, has reopened its doors to members. Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director provided the Icon with the following guidesllines and summer scheduling:
This summer we are offering a more limited group exercise schedule. TRX and Weight Lifting 101 are limited to five participants per class in order to maintain social distancing and the safety protocols put in place for gyms. Register on the BFR website or call BFR at 419-358-4150.
At this time we are not able to offer child care during group exercise classes. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
We have also added a HIIT class at 7a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. This class is being offered in the BFR building and remotely via Zoom.
There are two online registration options for this class, one for the "Zoom Studio" and one in the "TRX studio." Those registering for Zoom classes will receive the Zoom link in an email after registering for the class.
We realize that even though gyms are allowed to be open, not everyone is comfortable coming in. We are currently offering a virtual membership. Virtual memberships are $10 a month and provides access to three 7a.m. Zoom classes a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
Additionally, our Fit Over 50 classes will remain online via Zoom Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays at 9:45a.m.
Memberships are required to book a class. Virtual memberships may be purchased on our self-service site: https://bfr.ezfacility.com/login
or by calling our front desk staff, 419-358-4150.
When booking classes through the self-service site you will be asked to "buy a package." Classes are still free for members. Choose the "buy" option, but you don't enter any card info and it will have a $0.00 total at the end.
