Extreme science virtual assembly on the way

CALENDAR FOR REMOTE LEARNING: We will continue with four day, in-person learning, and Fridays as a remote learning day for all students during the third nine weeks, which ends March, 26. We will decide in March what our schedule will look like for the last nine weeks, which starts on March 29.
HALLWAY AND CLASSROOM PICTURES: Since you cannot visit our school during the pandemic we thought we would display pictures on the elementary website. Go to the bottom of the elementary page and click, “School Photo Galleries.” There you will find “Fall 2020” and “Christmas 2020” pictures.
FIFTH GRADE QUIZ BOWL: Monday, Jan. 11 is the first Quiz Bowl match. All matches are at Shawnee Middle School. Our team members are: Peyton Worcester, Klaira Hohenbrink, Elizabeth Phillips, Jacob Dawson, Emme Lee, Tala Gipson, Hunter Kloeppel, Ella Roby, Izzy Recker and Kennedy Longworth. They are coached by Jaime Shaw.
ELEMENTARY MEMORY BOOKS: A colorful, elementary Memory Book for the 2020-2021 school year is on sale until Feb. 12. Additional options are available. You may order online at ybpay.lifetouch.com.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: Any child who will be 5 by Aug. 1, 2021, is eligible to enroll for next school year’s Kindergarten. contact the elementary office at 419-358-7951. We will need the following information:
• child’s name
• birth date
• parents’ names
• address
• phone number
You may send the information via email to [email protected]. All children are required to have their immunizations before starting school. The Allen County Health Department provides immunizations but appointments must be made at: www.allencountypublichealth.org.
P.T.O.: The PTO will sponsor an “Extreme Science” virtual assembly for K-5 students in February. Continue to save Box Tops and Community Market receipts. If you buy products without a clip-able Box Top, download the Box Top App and scan your receipts to earn money for our school.
