Constitution Day Forum at Bluffton University
Dr. Rob Alexander, the Wilfred Binkley endowed professor of political science and director of the Institute for Civics and Public Policy at Ohio Northern University, will present the Forum “The Ever-Controversial Electoral College,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Yoder Recital Hall.
In this Forum, Alexander examines how the Electoral College has changed over the years and what we might expect for its future given the constitutional crisis created in the aftermath of the 2020 election.
Free and open to the public, this presentation also serves as Bluffton’s Constitution Day Forum. All educational institutions that receive federal funds are required to offer an instructional program each year on or near Sept. 17, the day the U.S. Constitution was signed in 1787.
