Football: Beavers blow through Anderson 27-9
The Bluffton University football team picked up a 27-9 win against Anderson University on Saturday, Nov. 5. The Beavers improved to 2-7 overall (2-4 HCAC) while the Ravens stayed winless at 0-9 overall (0-5 HCAC).
The men hit the home turf again next Saturday, Nov. 12, when they welcome Northwest Ohio rival Defiance College to Alumni Field for Senior Day. Kick-off is slated for 1:30 p.m.
Swimming and Diving: Beavers battle Notre Dame at Wooster
The Bluffton University swimming and diving team headed to Wooster to do battle with the host Fighting Scots and Notre Dame College on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022.
Freshman Sydney Grisier (Bryan) moved into 5th in the Bluffton record books with an 8th place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (1:31.14). Setting a pair of records on the men's side was Keevan Lee (Mount Cory/Cory-Rawson) who went 1:07.7 in the 100-yard butterfly and 2:11.59 in the 200-yard freestyle.
Bluffton will be back in the water on Friday, Nov. 11, when the Beavers travel to Wittenberg University in Springfield.
Volleyball: Beavers wrap up season with 0-3 loss at Earlham
The Bluffton University volleyball team wrapped up their 2022 campaign with a 3-0 loss at Earlham College in round one of the HCAC tournament. The Beavers finished their season with a 16-11 mark overall, while Earlham moved into the HCAC semifinals at Transylvania with a 14-15 record following two wins over the Beavers in the past five days.
