JAMPD in July: ventriloquism, Irish music and bee houses

Mike has been fascinated with the art of ventriloquism since the age of eight and juggling since the age of sixteen. His love of entertaining developed into a full-blown career that allows him to travel across the Tri-State area performing for audiences of all ages.

NATIVE BEE HOUSE CONSTRUCTION - MCELROY ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER
July 11 - 6:00-8:00 p.m

Native bees play an incredibly important role in our ecosystems. Come learn a little about our bees, their diversity, and habits, and then help the park build and set up some bee houses! TRADITIONAL IRISH MUSIC BY TORAIGH - OTTAWA METRO PARK AMPHITHEATER
July 15 - 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Join us for a wee bit of traditional Irish music, played by seasoned professionals. Toraigh’s repertoire draws on much of the century-old traditional dance music and ballads of Ireland, Scotland, and other Gaelic lands. You won’t be able to resist the urge to clap your hands along with the playful sounds of the traditional instruments.
