Service organization raises funds for programs the library can no longer fund

Friends of the Bluffton Public Library 2021 membership drive is underway, according to Deb Beer, Friends president.

The cost of a membership is only $5. According to Beer, the Friends now have over 40 members and hope for the number to increase.

“The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library is a service organization,” she said. “Our main goal is raising money for the library programs that can no longer be funded by the library board due to cuts in state funding.
