Here's the August update on events planned at the Bluffton Public Library.

COSI Learning Lunchboxes: Starting July 31, pick up a learning "lunchbox" to feed your mind - and explore space right from home! Pick-up continues while supplies last - one kit per family, for students going into grades K-8th. These kits are generously donated by The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) through a partnership with the Ohio Library Council.

Mobile Health Clinic: Friday, July 30 from 9:00-11:00 a.m :

All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening). Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctors.

Please notice:

Join Dan Hodges, a Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District Naturalist to learn about tails in the animal kingdom on July 22 at 11:30 a.m.! We will explore all sorts of tails and how they are different, what they do, even what they say!

Email [email protected] by Monday, July 19 for the Zoom link and to let us know how many plan to attend.

Open to all ages.
A minimum number of registrants is required to hold this program.
