A “Tails & Tales” Live Zoom event with Dan Hodges of JAMPD

Join Dan Hodges, a Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District Naturalist to learn about tails in the animal kingdom on July 22 at 11:30 a.m.! We will explore all sorts of tails and how they are different, what they do, even what they say!

Email [email protected] by Monday, July 19 for the Zoom link and to let us know how many plan to attend.

Open to all ages.
A minimum number of registrants is required to hold this program. 

Video Chat with a Therapy Dog

Bluffton Public Library invites you to submit a question for Max and Sophie, and if your question is picked, you can be featured in the library's video chat.

Submit your question for Max (and his owner Helen), or Sophie (and her owner Julie) on the library's website (Submit Your Questions Here), or at the library's front desk.

If staff members choose your question, you will be contacted and invited to ask your question live on the library's Zoom video recording on July 6 at 7 p.m. After filming, the video will be featured on the library's website, YouTube, and social media.

Summer reading program continues at Bluffton Public Library

Here's the July update on events planned at the Bluffton Public Library.

Bluffton Public Library continues its 2021 Summer Program, “Tails and Tales!” On Beanstack, patrons track their reading and completed activities in order to earn badges and tickets.

Patrons can then enter their tickets online to compete for awesome grand prizes in their age group. Visit blufftonpubliclibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app free from your app store.

"Tails & Tales" Book Discussion with Anne Coburn-Griffis of The Quarry Farm

“Tails & Tales” Book Discussion via Zoom meets June 23 to discuss The Good Good Pig by Sy Montgomery and on July 28 to discuss Running with Sherman by Christopher McDougall. 

This discussion will be hosted by Bluffton Public Library and The Quarry Farm, and is open to adults and teens. Pick up one or both titles at the library and register to receive the Zoom link starting June 1.

The Bluffton Public Library announces its summer programming. Here's the June calendar and parts of the July calendar.
