The Bluffton Public Library is distributing an "It's a Hoot Kids' Take & Make" craft starting September 25 at the youth services desk or via curbside pick-up while supplies last.
The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library will hold its annual membership meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 28, at the library, 145 S. Main. Dues paying members of the Friends are able to vote on items such as officers for the coming year and new terms of Board members.
There are openings on the Friends board. Anyone who loves the library is invited to consider serving on the board. "We are particularly interested in persons who have some social media experience to help with our Facebook page," said Deb Beer, current Friends Board president.
Bluffton Public Library will host Village Story Walk II with Fred Steiner on October 4 and 5 at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each evening.
The library announcement notes, "Wear your walking shoes and meet us at the Presbyterian Church gazebo to hear some more stories about the historic town of Bluffton, Ohio!"
Fred Steiner will lead the walking tour from 101 N. Main St. to 147 N. Main St. across Main St., then back across Main St. to return from the Town Hall and to the Presbyterian Church.

The kits have been provided by the Ohio Department of Health and are free to the public.
