The library is making the following changes to our Solar Eclipse programming (due to its extreme popularity, the possibility of overcast conditions on Monday, and for ease of planning/preparation):
The program will be held on the lower level of the library.
Watch the historic eclipse from 1:01 - 3:50 p.m. at Bluffton Public Library!
Mr. George will be on site, ready to answer questions and offer guidance as the eclipse happens.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED - ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR THE SPECIAL ECLIPSE VIEWING GLASSES THAT WILL BE PROVIDED AUG. 21 AT NO COST FOR UP TO 200 REGISTRANTS WHO ATTEND THE PROGRAM!
Our Solar System is a program for all ages on Aug. 15 at 10:30 a.m. in the lower level of the library. Mr. George will be sharing how our solar system works through a variety of fun, interactive learning experiences. Please register soon - space is limited.
This program is designed for age 4th grade through adult. Younger children may register, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bluffton Public Library will host a program led by the Southeastern Ohio Society for Bigfoot Investigation (SOSBI) on Thursday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.
This is the second time the library has invited the society to speak in their facilities, with the 2015 program reaching over 100 audience members.
Registrants will listen to a lecture, including accounts of experiences in the woods, and may take a look at SOSBI’s display items and enjoy refreshments provided by the library.
Wondering what to expect? Here’s what SOSBI has to say about the program:
