Our world has been turned upside down by COVID-19.  

For the most part, we have never walked this road before – personally or as communities.  Many are facing loss of work, depletion of savings, delays in unemployment or other assistance, and so forth.  Others have had relatively few economic adjustments, but they are facing family, health, or interpersonal difficulties.  Times are hard all around.

Lu Lu's Diner reopens with regular hours

As Bluffton reopens, Lu Lu’s Diner, 114 E. College Ave., is back in the breakfast and lunch business. The diner reopened on May 21, and is operating with a full staff and its regular hours.

Those hours are Mondays through Saturdays 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Employees are wearing masks. The restaurant is being continually sanitized and tables are spread apart for the safety of customers.

Lu Lu’s is owned and operated by Justin Musil, who opened the popular eating spot in the summer of 2015.

New Leaf Landscape Garden Center, 0395 State Route 235, Ada, has Memorial Day items, and the garden center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 25, Memorial Day.

Friday, May 22
10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, May 23
10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We have some great decorative, farmstead and vintage items to put in and outside your home to enjoy,” said Shaw. 

“Most are one of a kind. Once gone, they won’t be available again.

R COOP will be open each Friday and Saturday from this weekend through the weekend of June 12-13. Phone: 419-302-2179
