Siefker REal Estate and Auction Co., Ottawa, will conduct a public auction of approximately 97 acres of farmland located in Bath Township in November.

The auction is at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Beaverdam-Richland Township Fire Station, 201 W. Main St., Beaverdam.

Peanut brittle season is here.

Members of the Bluffton Senior Citizens Association will create its first batch of the popular Bluffton holiday candy on Monday, Nov. 5. Peanut brittle will be on sale at the center, 132 N. Main St., until this year's supply is sold out.

New batches of the candy will be produced each Monday in November.

The Center's hours expands its hours during November and December, as the Center will open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon those months.

We invited Icon viewers to guess the location of this Bluffton photo. Every once in a while we need to toss in a difficult photo - and by the entries submitted, this was a stumper.

The correct answer is not:
• Bluffton Community Swimming Pool (many contestants thought it was)
• nor is it found at the Bluffton elementary school

Winner recieves a boquet of flowers from Town and Country

Several persons have been nominated as Bluffton's sweetest person and the Icon continues to accept addition nominations.

Any Icon viewer can nominate Bluffton's sweetest person for Sweetest Day on Oct. 20.

One winner will be drawn from all nominations. The winner will receive a bouquet of flowers from Town and Country Flowers, 124 N. Main St., Bluffton.
