Human resources focus of BCE Friday Workshop

Top five human resource issues for small business owners were addressed in Blufton Center for Entrepreneurs November Friday Workshop on Nov. 11.

Sally Siferd, HRCI certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), led the free workshop.

Dyanne Gregg had always worked in the medical field in some capacity and thought, “there had to be a better way to relieve pain, than handing out a pill.”

Then she discovered massage therapy. Dyanne obtained a massage therapy license in 2009, affirming it offers persons a “transition…the ability to transform body aches and pain to mobility.”

“Massage therapy is not a fix. Rather a way to retrain your body,” she said.

BCE Friday Workshop focus on human resources for small business

Free workshop follows chamber breakfast Nov. 11 in town hall

Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs launches BCE Friday Workshops, a series of free monthly programs focusing on issues involving small businesses.

The workshops follow the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce breakfasts on the second Friday of each month in the Bluffton town hall.

This month’s workshop at 8:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11, focuses on human resources.

The workshop title is “Top five human resource topics that could protect a small business owners’ bottom line.” Sally Siferd leads the workshop.
