The Icon became a family today. Fred and Mary Pannabecker Steiner, owners of The Bluffton Icon, announce the launching of The Ada Icon (www.adaicon.com). The Ada site is completely separate from Bluffton; however, it offers the Ada community many of the features of The Bluffton Icon.

Like Bluffton, The Ada Icon is a free, online news source, which covers the community of Ada with daily news, information and opportunities for businesses to advertise their products.

Ten Thousand Villages, 115 S. Main St., has blue vines canisters handcrafted in Vietnam, according to Aphaphanh Nussbaum, manager.

The canisters may be used to store sundries. Prices ranged from $34 to $44 and $54.

Greg's Health Mart Pharmacy, 126 N. Main St., Bluffton, will offer a free health screening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14, according to Greg Conkling.

Services at the screening are provided by student pharmacists from Ohio Northern Univesity and the National Community Pharmacists Association Student Chapter.
