“Conservation and Agriculture: Where Land Meets Water” will premier Feb. 26 on Zoom • Collaboration between Blanchard River Watershed and West Central Ohio Land Conservancy

The Little Riley Creek is featured in a new film premiered later this month, created in part by the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP), according to Lauren Sandhu, watershed coordinator.

“Conservation and Agriculture: Where Land Meets Water” will premiere at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26,  on Zoom.  The video will be released for public viewing after the premiere.

The video project is a collaboration between BRWP and the West Central Ohio Land Conservancy (WCOLC). It features farmland, conservation practices and waterways in Allen and Hancock Counties.

Bluffton chocolate walk postponed until Feb. 25

Because of winter storm advisories, Bluffton’s second annual downtown Chocolate Walk has been postponed until Thursday, February 25 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Nine Bluffton merchants are selling tickets in advance and providing wrapped, individually portioned chocolate treats.

Tickets are $10 each and a maximum of 200 tickets will be sold. The full ticket price will be donated to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program and Bluffton nonprofits supported by the United Way of Greater Lima.

Pandora-Gilboa Community Recreation presents Casino night at the Centre at Bluffton on Saturday, March 20, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and games starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $60 each and are on sale at Ted's Market, Cherry's Outdoor World, Car-E-It Party Shop, Kibbee's Carryout and online at www.pg sportsclub.weebly.com

Guests may arrive at 5:30 p.m. for an early start. This month’s art project is painting spring tags on wood and is led by Marilyn Reed, professional artist.

The Inn at ONU is taking reservations for its “Around the World Be Mine," wine and dine event next week.

The sampling is from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Feb.. 13, at The Inn, 401 W. College Ave., Ada.

The evening includes a six-course meal paired with wines selected for the evening. 

Wine commentary will be provided during the evening by Diana Kerr Brown, an industry wine expert. Live music is also part of the event.

Wine will be available for purchase during the evening.
