The next Bluffton community meal is Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.

The meal is free and open to the public and begins at 6 p.m. It is being served by Emmanuel United Church of Christ.

31st annual event sponsored by Ada Area Chamber of Commerce

FROM ADA ICON - Ada rolls out its red carpet on Saturday, Sept. 17, for the 31st annual Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Harvest and Herb Festival, according to David Dellifield, this year’s festival director.

The outdoor festival featuring over 150 booths.

Highlights:
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – over 150 craft booths on Main Street
• 9 a.m. - ceremony in depot park for the renovated railroad caboose
• 10 a.m. – parade (from Ada school down Main Street to College)
    (parade forms at 9 a.m. at the Ada school)

The Bluffton Senior Center will have a book sale on Friday, Sept.  9, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The sale continues Saturday,  from 9 a.m. to noon. Items include fiction with plenty of Amish books, nonfiction, paperbacks, magazines and movies. Books on Christmas, travel, crafts, sewing and nature to name just a few.

The Bluffton Senior Center is located at 132 N. Main St.

First National Bank, Pandora, will hold a health care workshop later this month in Findlay.

The program is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29, at Hilton Garden Inn, 1050 Interstate Dr., Findlay.

The Wilson Sporting Goods football garage sale is from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 24, Liberty Street, Ada.

The sale includes hundreds of footballs, baseball gloves, shoes, clothes, tennis items and additional sporting good items.

Kenton will be visited by 100 plus Model T Fords ranging in model year from 1910 to 1927 on Sunday, Sept. 4.

“The All Ohio Model T Jamboree is made up of model T clubs from all over Ohio and seven different states coming together touring and driving their cars” said Jack Putnam of Bluffton, event organizer. 

“This is the 28th Annual Jamboree,” said Putman, every year it rotates to a different community in Ohio.
