A free program on contagious wellness and weight loss will be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday, June 29, at Bluffton Family Recreation, 2015 Snider Road, Bluffton, according to Jeff Reichardt of the 20/30 Fast Track Program.

“If you are interested in contagious wellness and would like to know why seven hormones prevent you from enjoying contagious wellness and weight loss, please join us for the informative program,” he said.

The namesake of Riley Creek - Sea Captain James Riley - will be in Bluffton for Sunday's GOBA actitives. He will talk about his experiences, which include surveying Riley Creek and traveling across the globe.

His talk, open to the public, is at 5 p.m., either outdoors in GOBAville, along Rosenberger Drive and Elm Street, or in case of rain, in Marbeck Center. (Captain Riley is also known as Dr. Darrell Groman.)

Antique cars, classic cars, trucks, tractors, golf carts, fire engines, motorcycles and Cushman each have one thing in common: Wheels.

And that word will be celebrated in Bluffton on Friday, June 19, as the Bluffton Lions Club brings the 48th annual Bluffton Festival of Wheels cruise-in to Main Street.

This year's show commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Dixie Highway. Main Street Bluffton was once part of that highway that spread from Canada to Florida.

Here’s the schedule:

Rawson Proud, a one-day celebration, takes place on Saturday, July 11, at the Rawson Park.

Events include:
• Car and tractor show
• Games, food and $1 pony rides
• 50/50 drawing
• Craft show starting at 8 a.m.
• Raffle featuring four different guns
• Hog roast sponsored by the C-R FFA alumni, starting at 4 p.m.
• Square dancing and music starting at 7 p.m.

Area athletes are invited to show their support for the fight against cancer on Saturday, June 20, at the Bluffton for Hope event at BFR Sports & Fitness. 

Registration for the event is available online www.active.com or by completing a registration form available at Village Cut & Curl or Polished. 

The run will begin and end at BFR and will travel on paved roads through town.

Bluffton cars and coffee – an informal gathering for enthusiasts and their cars – is coming to Bluffton.

The monthly event will be offered on the fourth Saturday of each month from June through October in the parking lot of Masterpiece Signs, 906 N. Main St., next to its heated vehicle storage area, according to Tim Boutwell.

Each event is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the following Saturdays: June 27, July 25, Aug. 22, Sept. 26, and Oct. 24.

Coffee and pastries are by Common Grounds, according to Boutwell.
