Bluffton's Relay for Life will hold a "quarter auction," at the Blufffton Middle School cafetorium on Friday, March 15, according to Lynda Best. The event is from 6 to 9 p.m.

• Mary Kay
• Thirty-One
• Celebrating Home
• Pink Zebra and
• Tastefully Simple, who will each have items on display and will donate items for the auction.
The Bluffton Senior Citizens Center and Bluffton Lion’s Club Foundation will hold their 31st annual Pancake and Sausage Benefit on Saturday, March 23, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Benefit will be held at the Bluffton Senior Center at 132 N. Main St. The meal includes all the pancakes you can eat, whole hog sausage, applesauce, and coffee, tea, milk or juice.
Tickets are $6.50 and children through 5 years of age are free with a paying adult. Tickets are available at the door or from a Lion’s Club member or the Senior Center.
Step back in time on Sunday, March 24, and join the Swiss Community Historical Society in the Maple Crest Patio Room for an afternoon with “An Early Healer.”
At the annual Spring meeting, the Swiss Historical Society will host Rita Thalen, formerly of the Johnny Appleseed Park District, who will present a first person (in character) portrayal of an early healer in the Bluffton/Pandora area.
The Inn at ONU presents a "Celebration of Spring" Afternoon Tea fom 3:30 to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 21. Persons attending will enjoy a selection of teas and an array of spring treats and live music. It's the perfect way to celebrate spring with friends or family - or even hold an office meeting.

Bluffton Boy Scouts are scouting for food on Sunday and you can help.
Bluffton Boy Scout Troop 256 members have placed yellow bags on the doorsteps of the residents of Bluffton for non-perishable canned food donations for the Bluffton Food Pantry, according to Darrell Groman, assistant scoutmaster.
The Bluffton Scouts will be canvassing Bluffton on Sunday afternoon, March 17. Please place the yellow bag on the front porch by noon, so that it is easily seen from the street.
Author Vanessa Diffenbaugh will speak at Winebrenner Auditorium in Findlay on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the library’s check-out desk for $5 and at the door the evening of the presentation.
Her appearance is the feature event for the eleventh annual CommunityREAD.
CommunityREAD is a month-long community event that encourages reading and promotes the benefits of literacy. Originally created by the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, the administration of CommunityREAD was assumed by the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library in 2012.
