Pandora blood drive on Valentine's Day

The Red Cross will hold a blood drive in Pandora on Feb. 14.  The drive will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church, 108 Washington Street.

Two blood drives in Bluffton in February

The American Red Cross will hold two blood drives in Bluffton in the month of February. They are:

Thursday, Feb. 7, noon until 6 p.m. at the First Mennonite Church in the Upstairs Room, located at 101 S. Jackson St.

Friday, Feb. 15, from 11:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Bluffton University, 1 University Drive.

While walk-in donors are welcome, donors are encouraged to make appointments. To make an appointment, call 1-800-RED CROSS or go to  www.redcrossblood.org .

Bluffton Senior Citizens offering several trips in 2013

The Bluffton Senior Citizens announces the spring bus trip schedule.  The following entertaining options are on the slate:

Thursday, March 14 
LaComedia is presenting the Dolly Parton musical hit “9 to 5".
Get your reservations in by February 12th, to fill the motor coach.  
Enjoy a full buffet lunch and a visit to Freisingers Chocolate Factory.  
The bus leaves at 9:00 am.

February is for celebrating Bluffton Public Library with free activities and treats for all

February is Library Lovers' Month, a month for celebrating how wonderful to have a thing that is a library.  

Bluffton Public Library is teaming up with several Bluffton businesses and the Friends of the Library to celebrate.

The library has crafted several different ways patrons can celebrate the library.

The week includes:

Every afternoon a different treat!

Feb. 11-15, visitors to the library can indulge in free refreshments from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Apollo Community Celebration kick-off to National Career Technical Education on Jan. 29

 

Apollo Career Center will hold its first-everl Apollopalooza on Jan. 29, 5:30-7 p.m., to kick-off National Career and Technical Education Month, which runs through February. Apollopalooza will showcase both the high school and adult education programs. The event is free and open to the public.
