Pittsburgh singer performs in Town Hall Series Oct. 1

Brad Yoder, singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh, will perform in the next Town Hall Concert Series event at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, according to Wendy Chappell-Dick.

Here's a summary of the performer

Yoder believes musical success should be measured in more than just the obvious ways. But, being voted in the top three slots multiple times since 2002 for "Best Acoustic/Solo Artist" by Pittsburgh City Paper readers is great.

Two Bluffton businesses in Oct. 2 bridal show

Two Bluffton businesses will participate in the Country Inn and Suites and Holiday Inn Express, Findlay, free interactive bridal show on Oct. 2, from 1-4 p.m.

Reception for Bob Minto's Findlay Art League show Friday night

Bob Minto

Local ceramic artist Bob Minto will hold an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30, at the Findlay Art League, for a one-person show.

The show "altered states in clay," will run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 18. Gallery hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The show will feature Minto's ceramics

Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley performs at Freed Center Oct. 1

The Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley will perform Saturday, Oct. 1 at 8:30 p.m. at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

Better book it to the public library's book sale now through Sept. 27

This is a great weekend to book it to the Bluffton Public Library.

The Friends of the Bluffton Public Library will holds its fall book sale from Friday until Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Book sale hours for the public are Sept. 23 through Sept. 26 during regular library hours and Sept. 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The library and Friends group will also be offering additional activities on Saturday, Sept. 24, in conjunction with the community's Fall Festival.

Smart Hearts meeting set for Oct. 3 in Findlay

Smart Hearts, a heart health education and support group at Blanchard Valley Hospital, will hold a meeting Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in the BVH Marathon Auditorium, Findlay

The meeting topic, presented by Blanchard Valley Hospital Cardiac Rehab, will be "20 things you can do to prevent, halt and reverse heart disease."

This presentation is free and open to the public.
