Come join us for a candlelit walk to empower and support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse and rape. Beginning at the Bluffton Public Library at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, it will proceed to Ramseyer Theatre at the university ending with a program and ceremony.

Organized by A.S.S.K. in partnership with Rape Crisis Center of Crime Victim Services, this event was created to help raise awareness about rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and domestic violence and the social discomfort they cause.

Bluffton Hospital will host a two-day bake sale and an all week gift shop sale.

The bake sale is in the hospital conference room Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 16-17 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The hospital gift shop will hold a "big blow-out sale," featuring Black Friday prices. The sale runs Monday, Nov. 14, through Friday, Nov. 18, hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The sale includes OSU items, Christmas items, jewelry, money soap and Woodwick items all 20 percent off.

ArtSpace/Lima and DeHaven Home and Garden Showplace will present Jazz at the Greenhouse, featuring Motor City Beat, Friday, Dec. 2, from 8-11 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Jazz at the Greenhouse will feature, in addition to the music, a cash bar, free hors d'oeuvres, dancing, a raffle, and door prizes. The Greenhouse will be elaborately done up with holiday decorations.

Bring your little ones for Breakfast with Santa at The Inn at Ohio Northern University on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 9 to 11 a.m.. Along with breakfast, children will visit with Santa, get their photograph taken with him and receive a special gift from The Inn.

Gather your friends and family and warm up your winter afternoons with a tea celebration. The Inn at Ohio Northern University, Ada, offers Thursday Tea at the Inn every Third Thursday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Inn.

This month's event is a special Saturday, Nov. 19, tea. It is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. This special Saturday tea in honor of Thanksgiving will feature an amazing variety of featured teas and sandwiches, scones, pastries, tarts and petite fours. Champagne is also available. Live Music will be provided.

Several Bluffton dancers plus area students will perform during the Saturday, Dec. 3, Rhythm In Motion Dance Centre, Ada, dance recital at Lima Senior High School.

According to Darcey Schneider, owner of the studio, the holiday recital tradition has over 30 numbers. It features all of the students at the studio and includes holiday favorites including Jingle Bell Rock, Up on The House Top, and a visit from Santa.
