Tuesday, Jan. 31, (snow date Feb. 1) parents and students are invited to explore Apollo and its programs during an open house, 5:30-7 p.m.

This open house is for ninth and tenth grade students and their parents, but the open house is also open to the public, and anyone interested in learning more about Apollo.

Instructors and staff will be available to provide information and answer questions.

Over 740 sophomores in Apollo Career Center's 11-member district will be visit Apollo during Hands-On Day, Friday, Jan. 27. A snow date is Monday, Jan. 31. Parents of sophomore students are also invited to attend.

Bath, Bluffton, Perry, Shawnee, Wapakoneta and open enrolled students are scheduled from 9-11 a.m.

Ada, Allen East, Columbus Grove, Elida, Hardin Northern, and Spencerville are scheduled for 12-2 p.m. Parents wishing to attend should meet their student in the main office at 9 a.m. or 12 p.m.

Ohio Northern University's Freed Center for the Performing Arts presents The Spencers' "Theatre of Illusion" at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29.

Rather than centering their performances on baffling with the audience with impossible tricks, Kevin and Cindy Spencer focus on the drama, spectacle, interaction, danger and personality of their show, which separates them from most magicians. The husband-wife duo performs traditional magic stunts, but they do so with their own personal flair, sharing the magical experience through audience participation.

The Bluffton High School Post Prom comittee is hosting a pulled-pork dinner Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Bluffton Middle School cafetorium from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased from any BHS junior student, at the Bluffton Middle School office, at Greg's Pharmacy, or at the Riley Creek Pharmacy in Pandora.

Meals will be served in carry out containers, but dine in option is available. Meal will include green beans and potatoes.There will be a bake sale in the cafetorium.

Rhythm In Motion Dance Centre' will be sending 19 dancers to Cleveland to dance their very own Prime Time performance at 7 P.M. Pre-game of the Cleveland Cavs vs. Miami Heat.

The game is Friday, Feb. 17. Rhythm in Motion Dance Centre' was invited back to Quickens Loans Arena to perform in for the third year in a row.

Owner Darcey Schneider had to submit an audition tape to the Cavs and RIMDC was selected again for the 2011-2012 Season. Dancers are ages 6-18 years of age and are from Bluffton, Ada and Lima.

Tonya Meyer of the Center says: "Maybe you just want to get out of the house to have some fun. Come join the Bluffton Senior Center in learning modern Western square dancing at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30."

She says that Western dance differs from traditional square dancing in the complexity of the calls or movements of the dance.
