The Bluffton Lions Foundation will host the Eighth Annual Ride to Remember on Saturday, July 16. The event will be held as an in-person event but will also include an option to ride on your own time at any location.
“The town of Bluffton is excited to welcome riders to the 8th annual Ride to Remember. Join us for a tour of the beautiful northwest Ohio countryside,” said Travis Music, co-committee chair.
Returning to Bluffton after two COVID gap years, the Bluffton Arts & Craft Show has a new host and will take place just yards away from its traditional location in downtown Bluffton. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce has handed the reins over to Blended Roots, a consignment craft shop at 246 Cherry St.
There will be 51 vendors with booths outdoors and products from 65 vendors indoors. Parts of Cherry, Railroad and Vance Streets will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. for setup. The show will run from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
The Swiss Community Historical Society (SCHS) will hold an open house on Saturday June 4, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Schumacher Homestead. There will be children’s games—for the young and the young-at-heart. Highlights will include stilts, game of graces and hoop rolling.
The Homestead is near Bluffton and Pandora at 8350 Bixel Road.
Visitors may tour the mid-nineteenth century farmhouse, summer kitchen, garden, workshop and barn.
