Bluffton Child Development Center has a giant thank you to all community members who have contributed in one way or another to raising the money for the purchase of Phase One of our playground!

Some of these donators had direct-deposited cash, some gave items to raffle off, and some were participants in the raffles.

The people that have donated include those listed above.

To the Village and it's employees -

I just wanted to say a big "Thank You" for the impressively quick work the workers employed by the Village did yesterday morning.  A handful of Geiger Street residents woke up without running water yesterday (Tuesday, Aug. 13), and the Village was already on the scene at 7 a.m. The broken water line was repaired and finished by 10 a.m. I couldn't be more impressed with the level of efficiency and service provided.

Thank you,

Liz Gordon-Hancock, Geiger Street resident

It has truly been an honor serving as a Bluffton School board member for the past 11.5 years.

I will finish my current term in December, I have enjoyed every minute of my three terms.  We have an amazing community that supports not only their own children, but all children in the district.

We have custodians, cafeteria ladies, classroom helpers, bus drivers, secretaries and teachers that consider their positions at Bluffton far more than just a job, but a calling.

I just finished reading an article on Google featuring Dan and Lauren Newkirk.

Bluffton and "old Doug Smith house" caught my attention.

That would be to us the old Harry and Hilda Klay home. Doug married their
daughter, Rosemary, and later inherited the home. Harry was my mother's cousin.
We hold a Stepleton/Klay reunion every year at the Sportsman's Club in
Bluffton.
