The Bluffton Ride to Remember Committee would like to thank all 43 businesses and organizations that contributed items to the swag bags that each rider received.
The bags were worth close to $150 and included many coupons plus note pads, pencils, pens, book marks, chap sticks, sticky note pads, granola bars with wrist bands, candy treats, pill containers, bike wipes, water, a can cozy, eye glass cleaners, a leather ID wallet, a water proof cell phone bag, window clings, popcorn plus information on organizations and their upcoming events.
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio has several volunteer opportunities in Bluffton and Pandora this summer, according to Jessica Strahm, volunteer coordinator.

The Bluffton and Pandora Police Departments are once again in the planning stages for holding our 6th annual National Night Out celebration. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, August 6 and will again take place at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., where free pool admission will be offered all day.
The Bluffton, Beaverdam, and Pandora Fire and EMS Departments will also be participating in this event and those communities and surrounding areas are invited to attend.
It's a wonderful time of the year, with baby birds leaving their nests and learning how to fly. But unfortunately, it's easy for cats to catch the baby birds. This is a great time of year to keep your cat inside, and give the birds a chance to fly.
