Precinct B voters okay Sunday liquor sales request

Unofficial results have been posted by the Allen County Board of Elections for Village of Bluffton and Bluffton Precinct B ballot issues on the November 5, 2024 ballot. The proposed municipal income tax for funding Safety Services passed. A local option for Sunday liquor sales (D-6 permit) at 1861 Wine Lounge in Precinct B also passed.

Including the well-publicized race for U.S. president and vice president, all Bluffton Precinct A, B and C voters will have 23 federal, state and regional items to vote on in the November 5, 2024 general election. Precinct B votes also have a liquor license to consider. ▶︎
Rumpke Waste & Recycling has added a new acceptable item for recycling—clamshell plastic containers starting November 1, 2024.
Residents can now add clamshells to their recycling carts. This will include clear plastic carry-out containers; fruit, berry and lettuce containers and egg containers. For information on current guidelines, visit Rumpke HERE.
Members of the Bluffton University Social Work Club will take part in a Trick or Can activity on October 31, the same night that Bluffton holds trick or treating. Donations will be delivered to the Bluffton Community Assistance Corporation food pantry.
Students in costume will go door to door asking for donations of shelf-stable and nonperishable food items (no glass). Donations may also be left on doorsteps and porches to be collected.
