Challenges such as a constantly changing staff, a name change and merger phasing could really bring down a business. However, Bluffton University's radio station, 99.3 FM WBWH-LP has stood strong through all of this and is better than ever.
The staff and students who are involved with the organization have big goals for the 2010-2011 school year.

A.C.L.! The last three letters you don't want to hear if you are an athlete of any kind. Those are the letters Mike Johnson heard this summer. During a practice in summer camp for the Bluffton University football team, Johnson tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). This experience would change his life.
(Photo to come) Were you born in Bluffton? Did your family always live on the nature preserve?
Yes, Bluffton Hospital. My first memories are of the house we lived in on Riley Street, down by the entrance to the Buckeye Park. I also remember riding big wheels on the sidewalks with the Agner boys. I'm not exactly sure when we moved to the Preserve, sometime in the early '80s. Anyways, mom and dad are going on 25+ years out there.
Note: The Bluffton Athletic Boosters recently completed payment on the Ricky Matter Strength and Fitness Center. This story commemorates that event.

The moment you step in the doors of the flawless weight room or enter the gate for a football game, the memory of a very talented and promising young man hits you like a sucker punch to the gut. The two structures are in remembrance of Ricky Matter, a Bluffton High School student who lost his life in a car accident six years ago.
As part of their learning about Veterans Day, the kindergarten classes at Bluffton Elementary made ornaments for Christmas trees that will be sent to military bases in Iraq.
Some of the kindergartners, their families, and teachers attended a ceremony at Kaleidoscope Farms on Sunday, Nov. 7. The kindergartners presented the ornaments to the veterans that selected the trees. The trees will be shipped as part of 300 trees from Ohio through Project Evergreen. FedEx provides the shipping.
The Alzheimer's Association support group will meet at 3:30 p.m., the third month of each month (Nov. 15) and the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. (Nov. 9) at Mennonite Memorial Home.
