So, far, Ohio individual tax date remains April 15

The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced on March 17 that the federal income tax filing due date for individuals for the 2020 tax year will be automatically extended from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021.

Ohio tax date remains unchanged: While certain tax deadlines were extended for 2020, currently all Ohio tax return filings and payment due dates remain unchanged for 2021. Should this change, the Icon will announce it.

Ohio Northern University HealthWise Pharmacy, Ada, will hold its next covid-19 vaccination clinic this week.

The clinic is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, March 19. Vacciination appointments are for persons 50 and older, or with qualifying occupations or medical conditions.

Spring construction season begins in a few weeks in Bluffton.

The village's major project involves the continual upgrade of Jefferson Street.

Work on Jefferson Street Phase II will begin if not before, certainly by Monday, April 5, and will continue until the end of July.

Jesse Blackburn, village administrator, updated Bluffton council on the project on March 8. On Friday he provided the Bluffton chamber will a Zoom meeting update.
