Bluffton Senior Citizens Center has several February announcements, according to Tonya Meyer, director.
In January, two members turned 90 and receive a red rose and life membership. They are Angela Schroeder and Colletta Mullenhour.
The center’s spring garage sale is March 25-29. The center is collecting items now for that sale. They has that people do not provide clothing or shoes.
Thursday, Feb. 25, at 1:30 p.m. is the next board meeting. This month’s toenail clinic is 10 a.m., Monday, Feb. 22. For an appointment call 419-358-8971. Cost is $10.
“Conservation and Agriculture: Where Land Meets Water” will premier Feb. 26 on Zoom • Collaboration between Blanchard River Watershed and West Central Ohio Land Conservancy
The Little Riley Creek is featured in a new film premiered later this month, created in part by the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP), according to Lauren Sandhu, watershed coordinator.
“Conservation and Agriculture: Where Land Meets Water” will premiere at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, on Zoom. The video will be released for public viewing after the premiere.
The video project is a collaboration between BRWP and the West Central Ohio Land Conservancy (WCOLC). It features farmland, conservation practices and waterways in Allen and Hancock Counties.
