Bluffton Child Development Center has openings in 3-year-old class

The Bluffton Child Development Center has opening in its three-year-old class, according to Lauren Osting, director.

Gluten-free and food allergy support group forming

A gluten-free and food allergy support group has formed in Bluffton. It has three programs, open to the public, scheduled this fall at the Bluffton Public Library.

All programs are from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Richland Room (lower level) of the public library. The programs are hosted by Daisy Sutkay, Seasonal Sun Foods, Bluffton.

Program information follows:
• Monday, Oct. 21 – “Living with food allergies.” The speaker is Linda Houshower of The Food Store, Bluffton.

Over 200 to attend Grandparents' Day at Apollo Career Center

Apollo Career Center will host over 200 attendees for Grandparents' Day Wednesday, Oct. 9, 1-3 p.m. in the Apollo Commons. Grandparents are invited to tour the labs, participate in some hands-on activities, and share an ice cream sundae and some visiting time with their teenage grandson/daughter. Grandparents can choose to tour the campus and/or participate in some demonstrations in the commons including hand and arm massages by the Cosmetology students.

Bluffton students participate in SMArts program

Students from five area elementary schools will participate in Ohio Northern University’s SMArts (Saturday Morning Art) enrichment program, learning art and more in the Wilson Art Center on Oct. 26, Nov. 2, and Nov. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Lincoln Highway Association meets Oct. 15

The Lincoln Highway Association Western Ohio Chapter Meeting takes place Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m., at Baked to Perfection Bakery & Deli, 112 E. Fifth Street, Delphos (On
the old Lincoln Highway).

After attendees order dinner, a short business meeting will be on the agenda to discuss a chapter constitution. The public is invited. "Bring a friend and a Lincoln Highway story to share," said Scott Little, chapter secretary and treasurer. For more information contact Little at 419-296-5565.
