BFR offering Texas Roadhouse gift cards

BFR hopes to make your holiday shopping easier, according to Carole Enneking, director.

BFR currently offers Texas Roadhouse gift cards. Ten percent of each card sold helps the operation of BFR.

Two purchase options are available:

1 - On site: $15 and $25 cards are on hand

2 - Pre-paid: order and pay for a quatity of $15, $25 or $50 cards for later pickup.

Calling all Bluffton area Girl Scout alumni - Dec. 12 anniversary celebration planned

The anniversary of 100 years of Girl Scouts in the United States will be celebrated in Bluffton in December.

"The Bluffton Girl Scouts are looking for all Girl Scout alumni to join us for light refreshments, fun and sisterhood. We invite you to come and share a song or story from your years as a Girl Scout," said Wendy Chappell-Dick, who is helping to organize the event planned Monday, Dec. 12.

"We would appreciate an RSVP by Dec. 5 so that we can prepare properly. Please contact Kathy Bishop [email protected] or 567-226-1234.

Take home over one dozen works of art in BCE's 2012 calendar

Even if you weren't able to bid on art at this year's Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs art auction, here's one way you may go home with over one dozen works of art.

BCE offers a 2012 art calendar. It features 13 pages of this year's art auction works. Calendars are available at Greg's Pharmacy and Common Grounds for a suggested donation of $10 each.

BHS class of 1967 announces 2012 reunion date

The Bluffton High School class of 1967 will celebrate its 45th reunion on July 21, 2012, at Marbeck Center at Bluffton University.

Planners of the event invite class members to mark your calendars, and share this with other 1967 graduates you might see during the holidays.
