Girl Scouts from Bluffton Troop 9

This year Bluffton Girl Scout Troop 8 has been working on creating a healthy after school cookbook. At every Girl Scout meeting, the troop members have been cooking and devouring some healthy snacks. To kickoff the beginning of selling its new cookbook, Troop 8 cooked a chili dinner t sold at Common Grounds on Jan. 29.

Feb. 15 deadline for tickets to Transport for Christ banquet

University launches Mediation Works! project with $10,000 grant

Mediation Works! This is the message of Bluffton University's new project to help educate the regional community about Bluffton's mediation program.

Bluffton University spring enrollment up; best in several years

Bluffton University's spring enrollment figures are now official. This spring, 1,086 students are enrolled compared to 1,055 last year. The spring semester enrollment is the best in several years and is due in part to 35 new traditional students starting this spring. In addition, graduate student enrollment sets a new record with 130 students.

"Bluffton is very gratified to experience such a strong spring semester enrollment during this challenging economic time," said Dr. Eric Fulcomer, vice president for enrollment management and student life.

Let's dance on Feb. 27

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) and Findlay NOW Magazine will co-host Findlay's second annual Day of Dance on Saturday, Feb, 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The University of Findlay Koehler Center.

The event will combine the fun of different styles of dance, such as ballroom, line dancing, Bollywood, and Zumba, with health screenings and education on heart disease and other women's health issues. Other features will include free product samples, shopping and a fashion show.
