Youth book sale on February library calendar

The Bluffton Public Library Teen Advisory Group (TAG) will kick off Library Lovers Month with a youth book sale Feb. 7-11. More than 1,000 "slightly or very loved" children's and teen books will be available by donation during regular library hours. "The library has had many book sales in the past which mostly consisted of books for adults," said Youth Services Coordinator, Rikki Steingass. "I think it's wonderful that this is the first book sale to focus on materials for youth because they love books just as much as grown-ups!"

Dessert and finger sandwiches

Perhaps it's the desserts and finger sandwiches. The assortment tempts you for more than one trip to the buffet table.

Or, it could be the warmth of the fireplace. Add to that a melodic Chopin etude performed in the background on a grand piano.
It is, oh, so relaxed an atmosphere, evident in the several conversations floating around the room.

Then comes the hot tea brewed to your table offering so tempting a flavor on an otherwise cold wintry afternoon in northwest Ohio.
