All are welcome to attend the third annual Cabaret at Bluffton First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bluffton Food Pantry and the Bluffton First UMC Scholarship Fund.

The Northernaires (a vocal jazz ensemble from Ohio Northern University) - members are Elizabeth Betts, Miriam Stoner, Janet Pacanowski, Jennifer Taylor, Eric Smith, Kyle Roby, Timothy Smith, Todd Daquino, A. Lewis Jones (drums), and Dennis Kratzer (Director and Piano);

Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 8375 N. Phillips Road, will hold its annual fish fry. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12, at the church.

The menu includes home made food and fish. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3.50 for youth 11 and under.

The 47th Annual Missions Festival at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, Bluffton, will feature Dr. David E. Draper as speaker for both Sundays.

The conference will be held Nov. 14 through Nov. 21. Dr. Draper is president of Winebrenner Theological Seminary, Findlay. He is an ordained pastor with the Eastern Regional Conference of the Churches of God and served as pastor of Mt. Pleasant Church of God (Ohio) and Pleasantville Church of God (Maryland).

The third annual Cabaret at Bluffton First United Methodist Church will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 7, in the sanctuary at 116 Church St.

The event includes a fun afternoon of musical offerings from a variety of performers in the Bluffton area. Proceeds will benefit the Bluffton Food Pantry and the First UMC Scholarship Fund.

General admission tickets may be purchased at the church office (419-358-8921), at Greg's Pharmacy in Bluffton, or at the door. Cost is $8 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and students, and children 12 and under are free.

Election Day Meals at Bluffton First UMC

Bluffton First United Methodist Church, 116 Church St., will hold its annual election day meal on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Lunch will be served from11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the menu consists of homemade soups ($2), sandwiches ($2), salads (75 cents), desserts ($1.50), and beverages (50 cents).

Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 10 and under. The dinner consists of baked steak, escalloped potatoes, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage.

Thursday, Oct. 21, is the date of the next community meals scheduled by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association.

The meal is at 6 p.m., held at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center and is hosted by Mennonite Memorial Home.

The meal is open to the public. Donations accepted are given to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program food pantry.
