The next community meal is at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 15, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center. The twice-a-month dinner is a program of the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association. Different organizations and churches prepare the meals. Donations are accepted to assist the program of the Bluffton Community Assistance Program food pantry. The July 15 meal will be catered by the Bluffton Baptist Church.
The SHANNON Service Club is the provider for the Thursday, July 1, community meal held at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center. Serving is from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
The menu includes lasagne, salad, bread and cake and ice cream. The community meals are sponsored by the Bluffton Area Ministerial Association. The meals are open to the public and are free of charge. Monetary donations go to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry.

The Rockport United Methodist Church will hold its annual homemade ice cream social on Friday, July 2. The menu will consist of homemade ice cream, barbecue and chicken sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, perfection salad, pies, cakes, coffee and punch.
The church is located at 5505 Rockport Road. The Pastor is Rev. Rich Rakay. The serving will start at 5 p.m.
