St. John's United Church of Christ will host its fall beef and noodle dinner on Friday, Oct. 6, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The menu includes home-grown beef, noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple sauce, roll, assorted pies and beverages. 

Adults: $8; 6th grade through college:  $5; elementary students:  $4; Pre-K:  free. Patrons may dine in or carry out. The church is located at 223 W. College Ave., Bluffton.

Emmanuel United Church of Christ's fall festivities day is Saturday, Oct. 21, at the church, 8375 Phillips Road, Bluffton. The event is from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event includes truck or treat, activities and crafts. Persons are invited to come dressed for Halloween. The event is open to the public.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for youth 10 and under.
 
Menu: All you can eat fish, potato salad, calico beans, baked beans, coleslaw, cranberry salad, taco salad, broccoli salad, mixed fruit, layer salad, perfection salad, macaroni salad, apple salad, green bean casserole, hot cheese potatoes, pickled eggs, macaroni and cheese, cherry dessert, cakes, cookies and pies.

Rockport United Methodist Church, 5505 Rockport Road, Columbus Grove, will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30.

Proceeds assist Sara Campbell to compete at the WKC World Championships in November in Orlando, Fla., as a member of the Team USA.

Money raised will help cover her registration, uniform, hotel and other expenses.

The evening includes a split the pot raffle. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for youth 12 and under.

Pandora United Methodist Church will hold a free community meal on Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 5:30- 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora. 

The meal this month is provided by Ted’s Market. The menu will include pulled pork sandwich, green beans, applesauce, dessert and beverage.

 

Bluffton Presbyterian Church is collecting items for disaster relief through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. The collect continues until Sunday, Oct. 8.

Donations may be dropped off at the church or Village Cut ‘n’ Curl, 212 Cherry St, or call Lynda Best at 419-296-2790.
