Bluffton First Mennonite Church will observe Peace Sunday on Sunday, June 18, with worship led by various members of the Mission, Peace and Service commission. Kyle Miller will deliver the sermon, "Shaming the Kingdom of the Sword." Special music will be provided by Wendy Chappell-Dick, Steve and Monica Harnish.
At the end of the 10:30 a.m. worship service, FMC will dedication their new Peace Pole in memory of the late Rev. Steven Yoder. He served as pastor at First Mennonite for 15 years until his death in June of 2016.
The Pandora United Methodist Church will be host a free community meal on Wednesday, June 28, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora.
The meal this month is provided by Missions and Friends. The menu will be baked potato bar, hamburger sandwich, salad, applesauce, cake, punch/coffee.
“Sing,” a family-friendly animated movie, will be shown free on Friday, June 16, at 9:15 p.m., on the Presbyterian Church lawn, corner of Main and Cherry streets, Bluffton.
As a nod to the vintage cars that will be cruising down Bluffton’s streets that evening during the Festival of Wheels, freshly made popcorn will be available for 10 cents a bag.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a fun, old-fashioned movie experience. In case of rain, the movie will be shown in the church sanctuary.

Six students will graduate from Trinity Lutheran School, Jenera, on Sunday, May 28, The graduation will be part of the 10:30 a.m. service at Trinity Lutheran Church. Logan

Seth Lang, teacher of the third and fourth grade students, who is moving to Minnesota, will be honored at a farewell reception beginning at 9:20 a.m.
