The Thursday, May 25, Bluffton High School's student-planned baccalaureate service has moved indoors due to potential rain.

The service, open to the public at 6:30 p.m., has moved to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

The service includes several student speakers and a student praise and worship team.

 

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hold a free Community Meal on Wednesday, May 31, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora. The meal this month is provided by Rebecca Circle.  The menu will be ham, potatoes, green beans, dessert and beverage.

Bluffton High School's student-planned baccalaureate service will take place outdoors this year.

The service, open to the public, takes place on College Avenue in front of the high school at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 25. The service includes several student speakers and a student praise and worship team.

In the event of rain, the service will move to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Six youth were confirmed on  May 7, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jenera. 

 The class members are Kwynn Reis Alge, Kylie Ann Beagle, Logan Grant Below, Austin James Rausch, Cierra Colleen VanDermark and Cameron Michael VanDermark. 

 

June 22 at Bluffton University

A group of local artists and church workers are asking for donations of guns for a blacksmith demonstration, which will forge weapons into garden tools Thursday, June 22, at Bluffton University.

The demonstration is part of Central District Conference, Mennonite Church USA, annual meeting, held on campus.
