The long wait is over. On Saturday, May 3, the popular Bluffton Farmers' Market opens for its 11th season. The market will be open rain or shine, from 8:30 a.m. to noon each Saturday from May 3 until then end of October. The market is in the Citizens National Bank parking lot. Persons interested in becoming vendors should contact Peter Previte at 567-674-9513.
Long live the king and the queen. While Bluffton High School's junior-senior prom goes back many decades, so does the prom king and queen tradition. This year's prom, held at The Centre on April 26, followed the years-old pattern.
This year's royality go to Tyler Belcher and Kit-Ann Knisley. The couple is in the photograph accompanying this story. A second photo of the couple, during their crowning ceremony, is posted in the photo gallery below. The prom king and queen are selected by a vote from members of the senior class.
The Echocardiography Laboratories at Bluffton Hospital and Blanchard Valley Hospital (BVH) have been reaccredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL).
The Bluffton and BVH echo labs perform echocardiograms, a non-invasive test that detects and manages heart disease.
Several Bluffton University faculty members were recognized at the annual Dean’s Reception on April 22 for grants, sabbaticals and other development opportunities that they have been awarded.
The Beaverdam Bunch 4-H Club has had a few meetings this spring.
