You know it’s a successful blood drive when it collects enough blood to save almost one hundred lives.

On Feb. 14, Bluffton University hosted a blood drive sponsored by the American Red Cross in the Sommer Center. The Red Cross set a goal to collect 30 units of blood throughout the day.

By the end, 33 units of blood were collected -in other words, 99 lives were saved that day, according the Office of Student Involvement’s Facebook page.
