Bluffton's town hall originally served several functions that it does not serve today. For example, the town hall was shared between the village and the Richland Township trustees. In addition, the Bluffton post office was housed on the first floor (south side).

The Odd Fellows Lodge hall served the lodge on the third floor. The third floor originally had a dance floor and also served as a location for community programs.

The town hall also had a jail, located on the first floor of the Elm Street side.

Bluffton Lions want to give you a 90-second shopping spree at the Community Market on March 22. All you need to do is purchase a ticket to be part of the raffle to chose the lucky shopper. Tickets are $5 each.

Lions Club members will be at Community Market on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, beginning March 5  to sell tickets until the March 22 drawing.

Proceeds from the Shopping Spree support the Lions newly established scholarship fund. The club is offering two $500 scholarships to 2013 graduating seniors in area schools.

National and International speakers and authors, Stuart and Jill Briscoe, will speak at St. John Mennonite’s Mission Festival, set for March 2-3.  The church is located at 15988 Road 4, Pandora.

Stuart has preached in over 100 countries and written more than 40 books. Jill is highly sought-after Bible teacher and has authored more than 40 books. Their daily radio and internet Bible teaching broadcasts are heard all around the world.
