The article about Greg Conkling is so true, but not only to the customers but to his employees. I do not have the words to say what a pleasure it was to be his employee. Greg and Edna were not just employers but friends.
Jesse Evilsizer, 2007 Bluffton High School graduate, has been promoted to
lieutenant on the Forest Police Department. Evilsizer is a graduate of the Rhodes State Police Academy.
Kathryn L. (Patterson) Huston Rosenberger, 85 of Mt. Cory passed away at 11:50 p.m. Dec. 29, 2012 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born May 31, 1927 in Leipsic to the late Ray and Alma (Osenbaugh) Peterson. On June 12, 1946 she married Lloyd E. Huston and he died November 8, 1994. She then married William Rosenberger August 10, 2003 and he died in December, 2008.
The Beavers participated in the consolation game of the Hope College Flying Dutch Holiday Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 29, taking on the Finlandia University Lions at DeVos Fieldhouse. The Bluffton women improved to 6-5 after defeating the Lions, 69-44.
