This could be you - in a manner of speaking. One of the art works to be auctioned at BCE's Oct. 27 art auction includes a special piece by Bluffton artist Beverly Amstutz. The high bidder of this piece has the opportunity to have Amstutz draw any of the winner's family members (or the winner) in any historic-era costume. This drawing is an example of how the finished piece might appear. Auction details are in the story below.
Once a year area residents have an opportunity to purchase art created by local artists - thanks to the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs. This year's opportunity is Saturday, Oct. 27.
The event is the BCE's annual dinner and art auction fundraiser. Tickets are now on sale at $50 each or $300 for a table of eight persons.
