Kenneth R. Steiner, 95 of Bluffton died at 8:30 a.m. September 28, 2012, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton. He was born Oct. 28, 1916 in Pandora to Clarence and Cora (Rupp) Steiner. On October 27, 1940 he married Lenora G. Schroll and she died September 10, 1999.

Citizens National Bank invites Icon viewers to make donations to the Bluffton Food Pantry. For each donation made, the donor receives one entry for a prize to be drawn when the drive ends in early October. Here’s a selection of items already collected.

Best, of Village Cut 'n' Curl, and Lo Bianco and Frederick of Polished Nail and Body Salon, were among 25 Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members participating in this year's Bluffton business showcase at Marbeck. The event enables businesses to introduce themselves to university students. The annual fall event is very popular among students and businesses.

The promotion encourages persons to pick three locally independent businesses, and spend $50 each month between the three.
