Emmanuel UCC invites community to worship in the park Aug. 21
Friends and neighbors are invited to Worship in the Park at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21, with Emmanuel United Church of Christ. The service and family activities will be held in the Bluffton village park under the pavilion by the baseball field.
“Our church family invites friends and neighbors from the village of Bluffton and surrounding communities to join us for a Sunday worship in the park. Our service is traditional yet casual and includes hymns, a children’s moment, scripture reading, a sermon and prayers of the people,” said Pastor Jeremy Mann. “Celebrating our church community with a worship in the park is a great expression of appreciation for all that God has blessed us with.”
The worship service will be followed by food and games including: water
balloon toss, a cornhole tournament, cake walk, bingo, and other outdoor
activities. Park tables and benches will be available for seating, however it is suggested you bring along a chair for your comfort.
