Senior Center invites you on a trip
The Bluffton Senior Center announced its trips for the summer and fall, according to Tonya Meyer, director.
Trips follow:
• July 16-22, Bob and Bev Painter will accompany the group to Branson, Mo., and the Ozarks with 7 fantastic shows including the Sight and Sounds Theater. Cost is $864 for members and $882 for non-members.
• Aug. 10 is a one-day trip to Indiana to ride the sternwheeler Historic Dixie Boat, enjoy a thresher’s dinner in the Old Barn restaurant and see “Guys and Dolls” in the Round Barn Theater. Cost is $90 for members and $108 for non-members.
• Sept. 4 – 14, Meyer will accompany a group to the Grand Canyon and Red Rocks via a Columbus flight. Visit five National Parks, Sedona and the Lowell Observatory, meet a Navajo code talker and enjoy a cowboy night. Cost includes air fare and transportation and starts at $2,700.
• Oct. 5 is a tour of historic Roscoe Village with a “what’s It” game and a catered meal. Cost is $98 for members and $116 for non-members.
• Nov. 10 includes at Der Dutchman in Plain City followed by “Spirit of America,” a celebration of America’s music with a salute to Veterans staring Ron Retzer.
Nov. 29 – Dec. 3 is a New York holiday trip. A motor coach will tourists to NYC to visit Times Square, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the Top of the Rock and Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Trip includes eight meals and starts at $1,905.
• Dec. 8 is a trip to Young’s Dairy Farm Restaurant and Clifton Mill to see the Christmas light display. Cost is $65 for members and $83 for non-members.
