ODOT planning I-75 rehab project around Bluffton
Bluffton council will hear an update on a plan by the Ohio Department of Transportation to rehabilitate a section of Interstate 75 on Monday evening.
The project involves a stretch from the bridges over Riley Creek in Allen County to just south of the State Route 235 interchange in Hancock County,
The rehabilitation includes resurfacing I-75 and the ramps at State Route 103, and the repair of bridges over County Road 33.
Earlier ODOT had planned to remove the two bridges near the State Route 103 interchange. That plan changes when the Norfolk Southern Railroad objected due to owning the right of way beneath bridges.
Attached to this story is Monday’s council packet. The packet includes a letter from ODOT providing addtional information about the I-75 project.
