Lunch and learn on paying for education expenses on May 29
On Wednesday, May 29, Citizens National Bank and Citizens Wealth Management Group will present the second in a series of lunch and learns aimed at helping people make financial decisions and navigate life events. This session will be held at the Lima office, 201 N. Main St., in the training room, at noon.
The topic for this lunch and learn will be learning about the options to help pay for education expenses. Starting an education savings plan and becoming acquainted with the many options available can help you get a step ahead on saving for higher education. Section 529 plans, Coverdell accounts, US Savings Bonds and UGMA and UTMA accounts will all be covered as well as tax credits for education expenses, federal and state student aid programs and student loan debt and repayment options.
The public is invited to attend this free program. Lunch will be provided. Information about College Savings will also be available at all the CNB Offices that day.
Presenting the program will be Debbie Boisselle, VP Investments for Citizens National Bank. She has worked in the financial services industry since 1985 and has worked for LPL Financial since 1996. LPL Financial is one of the leading financial services companies and the largest independent broker/dealer in the nation. Citizens National Bank partners with them to offer wealth management and investment services to its clients.
