Transition Bluffton says "take a bird hike"
Transition Bluffton will hold an evening nature walk at the Bluffton University Nature Preserve later this month.
Local birdwatcher, Linda Houshower, will lead the hike and help us to spot different birds along the way. She will also provide information on the common and not-so-common birds in our local area, as well as popular locations for birding in our surrounding area.
The event is open to the pubic. Meet at the new Moyer Nature Center at the Nature Preserve on Augsburger Road at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 25.
This event is one of several events hosted by Transition Bluffton this year. The organization’s mission is to bring people together and to build resilience and sustainability in Bluffton and beyond. To learn more about future events, visit TransitionBluffton.org.
